This is a really cool and important building for you town. I strongly believe the more well known the building, the more you should focus on designing it. This building is designed very well be EA making it easier to design. It is quite a long building so that really has to be aken into consideration or else it will look out of place. It believe it has to be designed because it would not look right just compact against two roads.
This is a nice design because it has a nice entrance design (which maybe could have some more colour) and the playground is designed quite well. I don't know whether you would want to have the back wall of the playgroud as a brick wall but personally I like it. I think it is really important to put the broken down school bus (if you have it) as close to the school as possible, to look realistic. I also like the parking spaces being put close but out of the way of the school.
I really like this design becaue I feel all the extra items used complement each other realy well. For example the two angle statues look really good together with the flowers around them, the playground seats and objects look really well together and all the differen coloured trees look really unique causing a place that looks like how they do any outdoor activities or projects. The bus is placed nicely as well.

Springfield Elementary.
The Springfield elementary costs 10,500 and is one of the first buildings you get in the game. It involves a lot of tasks for a number of different characters. With the Springfield Elementary you also get 'Principal Skinner'. It tends to be decorated the same way with parking, a playground and Willie's shack in the back of the playground.
